01 Product Development
& Branding

We develop products that reinterpret Japanese aesthetics, cultural values, materials, and craftsmanship for contemporary life. Working closely with artisans and local communities, we oversee concept development, product creation, and branding, translating Japanese cultural value into forms that can be experienced in everyday life.

02 Art & Cultural Content Curation

We curate exhibitions and cultural experiences that explore the richness of Japanese craft, arts, and culture. We also reinterpret traditional values and sensibilities through a contemporary lens, developing aesthetic philosophies such as IROSABI. By bringing together artisans, artists, organizations, and local communities, we create new contexts for people to experience and engage with Japanese culture.

irosabi
irosabi

irosabi is tefutefu’s aesthetic philosophy that explores the presence of time through color. It finds beauty in the patina that emerges as materials, objects, and landscapes age, revealing subtle shifts in hue over time.

03 Spatial Direction

Drawing on materials, craftsmanship, and architectural traditions that have been passed down in Japan, we direct spaces as cultural experiences where Japanese aesthetics can be felt, lived, and practiced. Through concept development, material and craft curation, and experience design, we bring together architecture, craft, art, materials, and the experiences within the space into a cohesive cultural context.
